成熟的人有意向揣測的能力，能體驗感受他人的想法與情感，高度發展的感性更能感受到所有生命的悲喜哀樂，但是小嬰兒和智能不足的人顯然沒這個能力。如今人被培育成對金錢數字有著高度敏感力，但是對生命的感受卻退化到智能不足的地步，所以當眼睛看著母羊被開膛剖腹燒烤的時候，談論的卻是某一支股票的漲跌起落，這個世界彷彿已被金錢數字掌控，生命在數字底下呻吟，卻無能為力。

The mature persons could guess others’ intention and thus they could understand other’s thoughts and affection. People who have highly developed sensitivity could feel emotions from all living creatures. Infants and those poor intelligent people obviously don’t possess such capacity. Nowadays we are cultivated into high sensitivity toward monetary figures while we are losing our sensitivity of sympathy toward life. As a result, when we look at a ewe being ripped and roasted, what we are talking about might be a certain stock share. This world has seemingly been controlled by those monetary figures while the living creatures helplessly groan and straggle under those figures.
